A fine Chinese carved rosewood King size platform bed, 20th century in light tone and natural finish, the solid fragrant rosewood bed (possibly Vietnamese huanghuali), comprising a plain platform in two parts with panelled sides and central double door storage cupboards to each side, a plain end board and a finely carved backboard with scrolled ends, central relief carved floral crest flanked by twin dragons, with Chinese key fret reserves featuring auspicious symbols, twin phoenixes and pomegranates.
