A Chinese Imari plate and a Japanese cast iron teapot, late 19th century the Imari octagonal plate with alternating iron red, cobalt blue and green diaper ground panels to the wide border with floral basket, ruyi and fenced garden designs, auspicious symbols to the exterior, together with a modern Nambu Ironware 'Hisago' teapot decorated with double gourds on vine and with a double gourd finial, maker's mark to the underside.
