A Chinese carved dark green jade Cong brush pot, 20th century the traditional cong form brush pot, square set with a circular bore representing the unity of heaven and earth, in the deepest green stone, each side with relief carved bird-and-flower shaped panels of one of the 'Four junzi' for the four seasons: plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum.
