Chantilly porcelain Kakiemon sauce tureen, c. 1745, of quatrefoil shape, the cover decorated with moulded acanthus leaves, and surmounted by a floral finial, the sides of the tureen and the under-plate painted with floral sprays and insects, with brown rim, iron-red hunting horn mark to undersides (2), height 10 cm width 15.7 cm (tureen); length 24.5 cm (plate).
