First period Worcester porcelain sauce tureen and stand, c. 1770, of oval shape, finely painted with exotic birds in parkland settings, further embellished with gilt swagged festoons suspended from cobalt blue border, the domed cover surmounted by a gilded artichoke finial, with deep boat-shaped stand, underglaze blue crescent marks to the undersides (2), height 13 cm width 17 cm; width 24 cm.
