Fiji District, a 32-section map, early 20th century, lithographed in colours and laid down on linen for folding to 20 x 12 cm size. Overall 76 x 100 cm when opened out. Printed for the 'Methodist Missionary Society of Australasia' the islands of Fiji are individually named, with all major settlements, mountains, rivers and other features identified as well as the names allocated to the missionary 'Circuits' - 'Rewa', 'Nadroga', 'Lakeba - Lomaloma' etc; there is also an inset map showing the location of Fiji in relation to Australia, New Zealand, Samoa and Papua, an extremely rare map; we have been unable to find another example in any publicly held collections.
