Pair of 18th century Burmese carved teak figures, each depicting a standing bell carrier with one arm raised to shoulder and one arm set to side, with serene smiling expressions, with extant darkening/ staining of timber to the hairline, shoulders, torso and loins, with spherical bangles set to the wrists and ankles, on a lotus form pedestal, set above square black stands with support rods, total height 95 cm, height without stands 88.5 cm, plinth width 22.5 cm
