Paul Garnier 19th century striking carriage clock, hour and half hour striking on a bell, one piece case. The movement back plate signed Paul Garnier, Hger du Roi, the watered-silk engine turned dial with Roman numeral chapter ring over two winding holes and a plaque inscribed Paul Garnier Horloger du Roi, within a one piece case with vertical front sliding door. Serial 1059 and with chaff cutter escapement. Running well. Height 14.5 cm to top of handle. With original carrying case and key fitted to interior base of case.
