Centring a panel of claw-set old European-cut diamond clusters together weighing approximately 5.00 carats, mounted to low carat gold, to an integral fine trace chain in 18ct gold, length approximately 350 mm.. Lot 200 belonged to Chinese born industrialist, politician and philanthropist Cheong Fatt Tze (1840-1916). Cheong Fatt Tze lived and worked in Malaya and the Dutch East Indies amassing considerable wealth and influence at the time earning him the moniker 'the Rockefeller of China'. He built the famous Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion/ the blue mansion which is a heritage listed tourist attraction in Malaysia.
