A Japanese scroll of Daikokuten, Taisho period (1913-1927), featuring Daikoku, one of the seven gods of good fortune, as he carries a giant radish, signed, 58.5 cm high, 20 cm wide. The scroll 140.5 cm high, 24 cm wide. Other Notes: Daikoku is known as the God of Agriculture and hence farmers would offer up beans or radishes to wish for a bountiful harvest.
