A Japanese studio wall-vase by Seifu Yohei I (1803-1861), Edo period (1603-1868), circa mid 19th century, modelled as a segment of bamboo, decorated with an iron-brown glaze to the exterior, the interior painted in iron red with autumnal maple leaves. A small aperture at the back for hanging on the wall. Impressed circular two-character mark for Seifu I to the base, 12 cm high, 5.6 cm wide,
