A large Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase decorated by Eliza Simmance, dated 1886, of subtle baluster form, with a fluted neck, decorated overall in foliate motifs and beadwork on a central stippled ground, incised markers mark, impressed date mark of 1886 and rosette factory mark to underside of base, together with other impressed and incised marks including assistant monogram for Mary Aitken, Lydia Greig and others, 53 cm high
