A fine Nowegian hammered silver and ivory jewellery box, David Andersen (Oslo), 925 silver, circa 1900, the square section lidded box on walrus ivory feet decorated with stylised floral sprays to the bottom corners and rope twist border to the rim, the pull off gently raised lid embossed with stylised scrolls enamelled in green and iron red, surmounted with a carved ivory medallion set with a cabochon carnelian, with gilt interior, marked to the underside and lid.
