A Louis XV style tulipwood desk, circa 1950, the Bonheur-du-jour desk with a fall front decorated with strung reserve of floral inlay to bookend veneers, and enclosing a finely crafted arrangement of drawers and sliding compartments, with a tooled and gilded brown leather writing surface, above a central drawer and two small drawers, upon tapering cabriole legs.
