A George III inlaid oak longcase clock, c1820, the broken scroll swan neck pediment above an arched glazed door enclosing a painted dial with a hunting scene above Roman numerals with date aperture and corner floral sprays, signed 'F & R Matthews Oswestry', the 30-hour movement striking on a bell, over a three quarter length trunk door between fluted brass capped pilasters, above ogive moulding and a cross banded base, with winder and weights.
