A Kali Hahapo headrest, Tonga, 20th century. Carved from a single piece of wood. Placed under the head or the back of a neck whilst sleeping or resting. An elegant form with a faint concavity to the neckrest, on two arched feet. The rest top has incised detailing and bone inlay, height 6.5 cm, width 39.7 cm, depth 9 cm
