A George IV silver salver, makers' mark of Barnard Brothers, London 1828, the piecrust border cast with flowerheads, scrolls and foliate motifs, the engraved ground centred with a monogram and motto within an oak wreath, on scroll and shell cast feet, the underside with presentation inscription 'From Messrs Martin & Ware to Mr and Mrs Wm Mowll for their kind attention to Mr W.C. Mabbott on the occasion of his Accident 24th November 1829', diameter 22 cm, 401g
