A late 19th century Japanese ivory folding fan, the sik leaf painted to one side with wisteria, peonies and butterflies, the other with a farming scene of two peasants within a treed landscape, shaped ivory sticks, and hardstone inlaid guards with wisteria and swallow, and silk wrist tassle with ivory ojime with lacquered and hardstone insects, Meiji period 1868-1912.
