A fine Louis XV style tulipwood bombe commode, mid 20th century of serpentine profile with a vigorous cream and purple marble top, two quarter veneer panelled drawers decorated with floral inlay, a shaped apron with drop, generous hipped edges flowing to splayed feet, embellished with pierced bronze ormolu caryatid mounts, extravagant vegetal handles and sabots.
