A George V sterling silver-gilt box, 1935 London, William Comyns & Sons (Richard Comyns), the fine rectangular box with canted corners and hinged lid, embossed and chased to the top and sides with Chinoiserie decoration depicting figures and birds in exotic outdoor setting with trees and foliage, surrounded by a shaped borders on matted ground, raised on fleur-de-lys mounted whorl feet, marked to the underside of the lid.
