An unusual Chinese famille rose tea bowl with 'rising figure' of Shao Lao to the well, the miniature figure rises within a lappet patterned dome. The exterior with three figures of gods in a landscape. Qing Tongzhi seal mark (1862-1874) and probably of the period. Diameter 8.3 cm. Provenance: Dr. David Stephens estate collection.
