A Chinese monochrome lavender blue glazed bottle vase, with chilong, 19th/20thC, with tall narrow neck, the well modelled sinuous chilong encircling the neck at the shoulder. The uniform glaze thinning on the high points of the auspicious beast's body and limbs. Matching glaze under the foot and inky blue Yongzheng six-character mark. Provenance: Private Wellington Collection, height 17.3 cm
