A deck cased gilt brass aneroid barometer by Edward. J. Dent, c.1826-30, the silvered dial with maker's name, Paris and numbered 7006, with centre pivoted magnifying arm, added set hand, glass cracked. Diameter 12 cm, in original glazed mahogany deck case. 16.5 x 17 x 7.5 cm. Provenance: The Jack Thornton estate collection.
