An early 20th century Japanese naval parade sword with wire bound shagreen grip, the brass fittings with fine hammered effect, two floral mons to the handle, the guard with hinged locking plate. The fine lacquered ray skin shagreen scabbard with three brass fittings including two ring hangers. The blade with etched temper line. Length 830.
