A fine quality early Victorian rosewood & brass inlaid travelling dressing table set, oblong shape, the top and front with Greek key and line inlays, the hinged lid revealing a fitted interior in red leather and purple velvet, with 16 various sterling silver topped glass bottles, jars, inkwells and shaving brush, silver dates to the lids are chiefly 1838 with one 1817 and another 1841, lift out tray, smaller tray beneath containing mixed accoutrements including a mother of pearl handled cut throat razor, a propelling pencil (af), sterling silver handled button hook etc. 39 cm wide, (circular pot glass base is broken and one scent bottle stopper chipped and stuck)
