New Zealand silver Reuben Watts (1869 - 1940) Auckland W.I.P.L. Love Conquers all things 1918 stamped in script Reuben Watts Stgsilver., the league was a small group, with never more than 35 members in the 1900s. In September 1916 it affiliated to the newly formed Labour party, and in May 1918 amalgamated with the women's international League. The combined organisations became known as the women's international and political Leagues, and operated as the New Zealand section of the women's international League for peace and Freedom.
