John Campbell 'Entally National House' pottery ashtray with majolica glaze. Incised 'John Campbell, Tasmania', 12 cm diameter. Note: this only the second example known to our rooms. Entally house was built in 1819 for Thomas Reibey, Son of Mary Reibey. Mary was transported as a convict to Sydney and later became a successful business woman and is now commemorated on the Australian $20 note.
