Silver plated and paste hunting stock buckle, 18th century, of oblong form, set with past stones, four prong tongue and heart shaped chape decorated with four bezel set paste stones, weight 11.7 grams 5.3 x 3.4 cm. Provenance: Private Collection of a North Shore Lady. The stock buckle was worn by gentlemen and used at the back of the neck for hunting
