18ct gold, yellow sapphire and diamond ring of cluster design, centring a claw-set oval-shaped yellow sapphire weighing approximately 17.00 carats framed by a border of brilliant-cut diamonds to shoulders partially set with round-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.72 carats, size T. Provenance: Jewels, Sotheby's Australia (now trading as Smith & Singer), Melbourne, 10 May 2010, lot 115, illustrated. Private Collection, New South Wales acquired from the above. Show catalogue notes. The yellow sapphire was re-set in an 18ct yellow gold setting for the owner in 2016 by Stuart Alexander, Goldsmith & Jeweller
