A New Hall hard paste porcelain teapot, circa 1790, in 'Silver' shape with a high set 'C' scroll handle, curvaceous spout, low domed cover and onion shaped finial, enamel decorated with pink, iron and puce borders and sprigs upon a cream ground in the Chinese export manner, painted mark M48 underside; unmarked.
