A George III sterling silver bread basket, probably John Henry Vere & William Lutwyche, London 1763, a shaped oval basket with a broad wire work rim decorated with trailing applied flowers within a bead edge border, an unusual double ribbon twist handle embellished with wheat heads, similar motifs to the bowl enclosing an armorial with the inscription, 'Un Dieu Un Roy' (one God, one King), hallmarked to foot rim, 7 cm high, 36 cm long, 29 cm wide, 920gms
