A rare Chinese moulded Ding 'Mandarin ducks in Lotus' dish, Jin Dynasty (1115-1234) the dish is decorated with two mandarin ducks, one standing on the shore and the other swimming in a pond with blossoming lotus, covered overall with a transparent glaze of pale ivory tone, the lip of the mouth rim unglazed., 14.3 cm diameter.
