A rare and large Chinese Yue celadon Funeral jar, Western Jin Dynasty (266 - 316) the tapering oviform body decorated with applied moulded turtles and Buddha figures, the elaborately detailed cover with hierarchical bands of figures, with a funeral procession featuring a stele, a flock of doves with small vats at the four corners, crowned with a miniature walled villa, all covered in a greyish-green glazed.
