A Chinese carved white jade standing figure of a female immortal, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) with a fitted wood stand., 18.5 cm high. Provenance: The Estate of the late Alan Myren (1934-2022). Mr. Myren was a Museum assistant in the Indian section in Victoria and Albert Museum in London from 1954-64 and on his return to Australia, he established a highly respected antiques dealership known essentially for Oriental Antiques.
