A Sevres porcelain jardiniere ('Cuvette Courteille', 2eme Grandeur), blue interlaced Ls mark with date letter J for 1762, with an oval gilt reserve finely painted in colours with a quay scene with sailors, on a blue and pink scrolled ground flanked by panels of ribbon-tied garlands, the sides and reverse entirely decorated in rose marbre with gilt, the back panel centred with a circular reserve painted with three peaches, tulips and other flowers, the painting attributed to Charles Nicolas Dodin.
