A pair of Barcelona chairs together with a single matching ottoman, designed by Mies van der Rohe for the German pavilion at the 1929 in the 1980s. The design was inspired by the ancient folding chairs of Greece and Rome, the chair is today recognised as one of the leading design objects of the twentieth century.
