John Stinton (Royal Worcester) a monumental highland cattle painted lidded two handle exhibition quality vase elegant large urn shaped lidded vase, superbly painted with three highland cattle in extensive landscape with idyllic landscape view to reverse. The ivory mask and elaborate matt gilded scroll handles to reel shaped neck with similar raised scrollwork and cut foliage in ivory and gilt on stained green ground, the cover and base decorated to match. Shape no.1572, date mark 1912, height 46 cm, width 34 cm
