Stevens & Williams antique English claret jug with sterling silver top by Heath & Middleton of Birmingham, circa 1891. The design shows the influence of Christopher Dresser, who designed for both Heath and Stevens & Williams. The top also bearing an engraved armorial crest for the Phillips and Lechmere families with the motto (translation) 'The love of My country Leads Me On', 24 cm high
