A Chinese carved and pierced decorative wooden panel, circa 1880, the finely carved and pierced elm panel with a central reserve depicting a Chinese opera scene surrounded by intricate key fret and trailing foliage enclosing pairs of opposing bats and storks, the top and bottom sections with twin chilongs centering shou medallions, the top fitted with a Chinese brass ruyi form suspension hook.
