A large carved celadon jade 'Nine Dragon' openwork Bi-Disc, late 19th to early 20th century finely carved to a wide pierced border of eight dragons, with two opposing pairs on either side of flaming pearls, an inner border of two pairs of ruyi and hooks, the eight motifs pointing to directions aligned with the pearls, and a central roundel with the ninth dragon, the pale celadon stone suffused with a small light brown areas, mounted on a white canvas.
