Mourey, 19th century, the Empire style gilt spelter case with a square architectural plinth housing an enamel dial with Roman numerals and Breguet style hands flanked by classical columns, on toupie feet and seated on a shaped stand with applied trims, surmounted by an allegorical figure of astronomy, a classical maiden in flowing drapery gazing at the horizon with a celestial globe and pen in her hands, the case stamped 'Ph.Mourey', with key and pendulum.
