Lovely Victorian sterling silver castletop card case, hallmarked Birmingham, 1852, FM (F.M Marson), of rectangular form with a hinged top cover, decorated with scene depicting Osborne house in East Cowes, Isle of Wight UK, set amongst stylised acanthus motifs within a shaped c-scroll border, with shield reserve verso, total weight 44gm, 8.5 cm x 6.5 cm note: Osborne house was the holiday home and rural retreat of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
