A Vunikau club, Fiji, used in combat. Carved from hardwood. A shaped cylindrical shaft with the head formed by the rootstalk of a tree. The handle features incised zig-zag geometric patterns running up its length. Braided plant fibre cords are wrapped in three locations up the shaft. Length 110 cm, depth 16 cm
