Description:
A Bowai club, Fiji, used for both parrying and attacking in combat. Carved from a dense hardwood and highly polished. This pole club has been shaped into a long cylindrical form with a faint flare at the end of the shaft with a rounded butt. This bowai has been left undecorated and coloured with a deep brown finish. Length 122 cm, depth 6.4 cm
