An adze blade fragment, Aotearoa, made from bruised greywacke stone. The fragment includes a tanged butt and handle. The cross section appears to have been quadrangular. Some sections have been polished. The fragment features a small White Label that reads 'Found in Mt. Albert garden digging 195x'. Length 17 cm, width 6.5 cm, depth 4.5 cm.
