A Victorian leather covered correspondence case, circa 1870, by Leuchars & Son, the rising top monogrammed D revealing a fitted interior. Height 17 cm, width 37 cm, depth 26.5 cm. Other Notes: Leuchars was established in 1794 and for almost 100 years supplied specialty boxes to Victorian society, they were granted the Royal Warrant in 1837 and sold the business to Asprey & Co in 1888.
