(Librarian to the Queen), Queen Victoria, [London; Boussod, Valadon & Co., 1897], 200 pp with coloured frontispiece depicting the young Queen and Prince of Wales from a miniature by Robert Thorburn; 41 engraved plates, many full-page with printed tissue guards. A large volume handsomely bound in three quarter red leather and marbled paper covered boards. Five raised bands on spine, gilt lettering to spine and covers. All pages with gilt edges.
