Egyptian male face mask, terracotta overlaid with plaster rendered in typical Hyksos style with large almond shaped eyes, heavy cosmetic lines, broad nose, arching brows and a full set lips. Traces of brown pigment still remaining. Hyksos period, 15th to 16th dynasty, circa 1720-1570 B.C. 13 cm high, 22 cm overall
