Akha 'U-Lo' headdress: made from Indian Rupees, French Indochinese coins, 20th century Burmese beads, hand-made silver moon shaped buttons, pendants, tassels, red-dyed chicken hackles, horse hair, animal bone and wool, circa 1950s. 45 cm high, 830 grams total, silver weight approximately 500 grams comprising: Silver (Indian Rupees): 94.7% pure. Silver (moon shaped 'Buttons'): 91% pure. 2 genuine Indian Rupees (1888 - 1900). 2 French Indochinese 1 Piastre (1890 & 1927). 6 genuine Indian 1/4 Rupee (1908 - 1936). 6 Thai coins 4 small Burmese coins.
