An antique Indian tribal silver torque neckring (hussli), border of the Sind/Indus valley, Rajasthan, 19th/20th century. Cast solid silver, finely chased and incised with various lobes and geometric patterns. 15 cm wide, an impressive 663 grams total, (23.4 oz. In the old scale). Provenance: Private Collection Melbourne. Purchased Bombay (Mumbai), 21st April, 1988.
